Re: Google Play New problem : 64bits

Hi, If you have the time then please try setting up Freepascal to output Android 64-bit target (yes this likely requires you to redo most of the steps you did last time to set up Freepascal). Then I can help with any errors you get when trying to build ZGE. Areas in ZGE that may need attention for A...

Re: Repeat loop can't remove name

Ok good you found a solution :). I guess the "this.Iteration" part refers internally to the component so ZGE gets confused.

Re: upgrading to new version app.collided error

Hi,

This syntax works here:

Code: Select all

int test() {
  return CurrentModel.CollidedWith.Category==2;
}
Make sure you are using the version you can download here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1320

Any chance this could be simplified for use under version 1.9.9 of z game editor?
Is there a specific reason you are using this old version of ZGameEditor?

the AspectRatio properties aren't meant to be updated in real-time / mid-frame
It should work to update those properties in OnBeginRenderPass though. But I haven't followed the details of this thread so I guess there is a reason you are not doing that.

I wouldn't call this a bug at all, it behaves the same as-in C & is by design, no?
That is correct yes, but it is still unfortunate as it is obviously not what anyone writes that kind of code wants to happen.

Re: Cardboard VR

.. is because both ScreenWidth and ScreenHeight are integers, so the result is a integer as well ( you want a floating point value ). Quite unfortunate, this is a parser bug, ZGE should handle it better. + You can't call functions from the global scope in a ZLibrary .. so that "switchVR(0);" call i...

Re: Should compile?

Indeed this should not compile :). I will stop it from working so please don't write code that relies on it working.

Re: Cardboard VR

Hi, I've been away on vacation. Did you find a workaround or do you still have problems with ScreenWidth issue?

I didn't realize before that it actually was possible to shoot and it switches to knife when out of ammo :D. Considering this is a project that you threw together as a reply to a question this is really cool.

An update: the latest build is no longer blocked by Firefox. With help from Kjell we did some changes to reduce the amount of false positives in antivirus scanners.
