Re: 彩虹子弹 (Rainbow Bullets)

A few graphical improvements (gentle parallax scrolling for example, the explosions are dynamically adjusted so they don't get in the way when there are too many of them and so on)… …and a new mode that makes it easier to play! On "Level Select" screen press "Start" (Space) to toggle between " Scout...

Re: 加速彈丸 (Accelerating projectiles)

Something like that, basically these "offshoots" are indeed often derived from / based on parts of a bigger project but with significant modifications. I can also use smaller projects to experiment with various ZGE features and how they work in context, for example the background effect in this game...

Re: GK 64k

Thanks :) Maybe I should, but for various reasons I never do it. Update: I made a small page for the project + a Twitter account for various ZGE projects, will post updates there too. Not sure that counts as "promoting" but one has to start somewhere :D Links in the first post! Jump ^ I'd be super h...

Re: Virus or false positive?

Why does it behave like that? I did not get a warning here (could be that I'm using the larger player.bin) but I'm curious to what trick it is that you mention. Did you try to build + launch the project as is after downloading it? On my end it asks for administration account no matter what I do wit...

Re: Virus or false positive?

After using the "sign of the times" build for a week or two, I can report that it scores much lower on VirusTotal and doesn't cause alarms at all (at least on my computer)! I have the impression launching builds is slightly slower (I keep my project on an old SD card so file size differences can be ...

彩虹子彈(vertical STG)

And here it is! I implemented some more things and improvements so I finally present… version 1.00! :D :D :D For this occasion I was planning to make an official page for it on my site, but that is written in html and I don't know how to handle that (I guess it can't be that hard but I can't poke th...

Re: Very Simple MP3 Player DLL

Do I always have to refer to a particular file name in order to stop it or is there a way to just issue a command "Stop current playing track"? I'm asking because the game can be quit at any moment and upon quitting the game I have to stop whatever tune is playing (if any!) in OnLeave. Right now I d...

Re: Very Simple MP3 Player DLL

Is there any way to control the volume? I'm trying to fade a song at a particular point at the end of the stage.

I've been looking here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/window ... nd-strings
but don't see any commands that would do that.

I also don't know how to reproduce it – tried a few times but no luck so far! Will keep an eye on it :)

Are arrays persistent even when "Persistent" is not selected?

For example if I run this from Preview, the first time it will print 1, but the second time it will return 0. Running it for the third time it returns 1 again (basically it works as expected every odd time). I thought arrays do not keep their contents if they are not set to "Persistent"? <?xml versi...
