Re: Fun project (Amiga ECS)

This is really cool. :D Very well done and such a cute hedgehog! Having played with/on an Amiga myself I can imagine this took ages to make.

Re: MikMod for ZGE

Um..yes.. I participated in the recent LD38 jam, but having too little time that weekend the result was not even remotely enough tested and had severe control and camera ..uh...problems :D ..therefore critics were rather mixed.. and I scored a very mediocre place 520 overall rating of 1104 published...

Re: Butterfly

..looks very slick and polished... from the particle bubbles in the background to the slightly tilting and moving text.

Very cool! :)

Re: MikMod for ZGE

Hi everyone, since I had some issues with the "older" version of the libmikmod on windows (no stereo output on my machine and others) I recompiled the actual libmikmod-3.3.10 version with MinGW for windows. The android version did not have this problem. I thought I should share the updated...

Re: Ion Trail

Yes, maybe if we ask politely we could persuade Ville to fix the depth sorting on Android somewhen.. :D

As for the music: I do some mod/tracker style music sometimes, if I can help just drop me a message?

Re: Ion Trail

Wow, this is great :D got lost once in the Dense Nebula and once on the Corona Run. Yes, this "choose your path" is a nice feature! And the space station is awsome! (Where do I find this thumb up emoji here?) Maybe some background music would make feel it even more complete? Otherwise the ...

Re: Vector graphics with NanoVG and NanoSVG

Wow, this looks great, I need to have a deeper look at this. I once had the idea of somehow using Inkskape-style graphics but dismissed it as being too complicated (missing a svg interpreter), but with this... :D
Another great addition to ZGE! Thanks!

Re: Odd rendering errors on Android

I checked the ZGE sources and note that depthsorting is not implemented correctly for Android and I'm not sure when I have time to fix that. ..yes, this would be great... I noticed strange behaviour of transparent images when stacked, on Android only, on Windows it looks good. Thanks for the workar...

Good point. I wondered why there are these darkish borders on the sprites.. they look nice and cartoonish, but.. I did not draw them :D

Re: Android limitations

What is the resolution of those images? And approximately how many images are included in the project? The limitation here is that ZGE requires all images to fit in RAM, uncompressed. Does "uncompressed" in this context mean always 24bit or even 32bit per Pixel, or is there a way to use i...

Re: LD35 Entry with ZGE

Hi zondarg, Comments are welcome. It's a bit bare-bones, but you're definitely off to a great start! It does help that Space Harrier is one of my favorite games of all-time :) Some remarks .. - All your imported images seem to use only 100% or 0% opacity ( no semi-transparency ). Usually this is so...

Re: LD35 Entry with ZGE

I see you use the MikMod library by Rado1 and also the SpriteSheet component which was quite recently introduced in ZGameEditor. Yes, I used this library in a small game I made for my daughter as well, so.. I had some experience with it. Sprite Sheet is great too :D About the game itself: Space Har...

LD35 Entry with ZGE

Hi everyone, I managed to take part in the recent "Ludum Dare" game jam, where I submitted my game "Polarity Dragon" - made with the ZGame Editor! :D Ludum Dare is a contest with two categories - the compo and the jam. The compo is slightly harder because you need to do everythin...
