Rebuilt all now. Renamed property to "TextExpression" and moved it upwards in the list: http://www.zgameeditor.org/files/ZGameEditor_beta.zip

Are you using the ZGameEditor.exe I provided in the RenderText thread? That will generate incorrect binaries until I've rebuilt the runtime engines to match the changes.

Good. Note that it supports full expressions, so if you have a string variable "S", then you can set TextStringRef to "Title: " + S, etc. I'll rebuild the engines in a day or two.

Hi, I tried adding a "TextStringRef" property to RenderText that should do what you are asking for. Can you please test the attached exe-file (designer only) and tell me if it works? If it does then I'll rebuild the runtime files too.

Cool, thanks for posting! I'm sure Kjell will share this video on ZGE twitter if you ask him. The cutscenes are excellent and give the game lots of atmosphere I think.

Updated again with up to 200% scaling and trying to fix font issues. If scaling becomes wrong (and panels disappear), revert to default by deleting ZGameEditor.ini file.

Nice (I had to download the video using Edge, Firefox would not work)! How do you author your cutscenes using this system? Is it ZGE scripting, components, text file or something else? I'd be interested in learning more about this. I.e. for a specific cutscene where do you store the dialogue, bitmap...

Hi,

Indeed it is meant for Animators list to only contain Animator components. I checked the code to see if I could make Conditionals work here like in your example (it would be useful) but unfortunately I could not find a way.

I agree this would be good. Are you using Windows 10? In general scaling works better there than in previous Windows versions. I run ZGE on laptop with 4k resolution on a 17" display, Windows scaling set to 250%.
