Re: YY Slider (simple, relaxing polarity puzzle game)
cover 01.png So I uploaded it to itchio, Steam Greenlight and to the homepage. Not sure how much sense does it make to connect it to Polarium Advance in the description (which was the inspiration for the redesign) - maybe not the most well known game in the world but hopefully lovers of this kind o...

DefineCollision automatic naming
I like how certain components change the latter part of their name in the Project tree depending on their parameters, for example PlaySound indicates which sound it will play etc. This makes it easy to check things just by glancing at the Project tree. It'd be useful for other components to do that ...

Re: Resource Wars
Yes please Hopefully it won't be mandatory to use a GameJolt account, I completely forgot my password (admittedly I have it written in a notebook lying on my desk, but flipping the pages is so hard...).Imerion wrote:If you want to wait for a less bug-ridden release we will get one out in about a week.

Fine with me, strong enough that one can see there's some reflection but not as strong that it'd get confusing what is the object and what is a reflection.Imerion wrote:How did the reflections feel to you? I experimented a lot with various alpha settings to make them look good, but I'm still not sure.

New build
Here is a nice playable build! New: ending screen, credits, numerous tweaks and effects etc... Use a nes-style gamepad or keyboard (cursor keys + z,x; space, esc). On the selection screen press left and right to select the level, up or down for room. I uploaded it with all the rooms unlocked so it's...

Drop down menu lists enlargement?
Components like SetModelState and so on use dropdown menus, but as soon as the project is slightly bigger, the default height really starts to feel inadequate. Can they be made taller so they can show more entries? The rest of the interface is free anyway so... The drop down that actually made me wr...

SetModelState = aware of context
When using a SetModelState component and selecting a particular state from the dropdown menu, it shows every possible state that exists in the whole project. This is impractical since chances are that the component will be used for switching the states of the model it is residing in most of the time...

BitmapPixels behaves unexpectedly when the texture is small, for example if it is 16*16, I'd expect that BitmapPixels / NOPoints set to 256 would make it mostly filled, but it stays rather empty. Same with 32*32... Edit: A workaround is to use BitmapExpression: http://pastebin.com/ATDDKRN8 but still...

Satoru Iwata Dies
From Financial Times: "Nintendo said its president, Satoru Iwata, died on July 11, aged 55, from bile duct tumour." One of the coolest guys in the industry. According to a site: Ladies and gentlemen, meet Satoru Iwata, global president of Nintendo, former acting president of HAL Labs. When...
