1. Download and install FL-Studio demo version.
2. Download ZgeViz.zip (attached to this thread)
3. Find your FL-Studio install path (on my computer this is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Image-Line\FL Studio 9)
4. Create a new folder in the .\FL Studio 9\Plugins\Fruity\Effects\ZgeViz path.
5. Unzip ZgeViz.zip in the new folder.
6. Start FL-Studio.
7. Scan for the new effect as described here (starts with "Effects - In the Mixer window, click down arrow for any...").
8. ZgeViz should now appear as a selectable effect.

Note 1: this is beta software so everything is not yet working correctly.
Note 2: users that want to test and contribute can receive a free NFR license of FL Studio from Image-Line.

Download here: (link removed, latest version is in FL-Studio 10)

I've updated the file in the first post so that ZgeViz is now built around ZGE 2.0 beta.
Also includes bugfixes with the video export functionality.

Beta updated today. Download the zip from the first post in this thread to get the latest version.

1. Back and fore effects are both loaded from the same folder: "FgAndBg".
2. Effects are named "01. 8x8x8_Eggs" etc. to avoid problems when automating scene select parameter.
3. Window is detached as default and top panel is larger to show more parameters (note also that the top panel is resizable).
4. Reverted to standard VCL-controls while waiting for another solution.

Beta updated today. Download the zip from the first post in this thread to get the latest version.

- "Fullscreen" and "Stay on top" button on detached window.
- Log-window displays ZGE-log including trace-messages from expressions (trace() function).
- Errors in scripts are no longer displayed as cascading message boxes, instead they are written to the log.
- Preload-checkbox in settings (disable to load plugin faster but transitions take longer because effects are loaded on first use)
- Settings dialog has a "Reset"-button to reset default settings
- FFT-settings. You can choose the number of spectral bands that the effects can work with from 32 (default) up to 128 (note that most effects are not prepared for this). You can also choose the internal size of the FFT.
