ZGameEditor 1.2.0: Bitmapped fonts

Post by VilleK »

Changes in 1.2.0 version:

- New feature: The Font-component allows you to use external bitmaps as fonts. See the modified font in Triple-E for an example of this.

- New feature: You can now enter multi-line text for the RenderText component.

- Improved: The UPX-compressor is now included in the ZGE distribution. And since ResHacker was removed in the last version this means no external tools needs to be downloaded for building "release" 64kb games.

- Improved: The property editor for binary files (BitmapFromFile) now has a button for clearing the current value. Also the dialog-message when trying to load an incorrectly sized image is more informative.

- Improved: Bitmaps are now previewed at their correct aspect ratio.

- Improved: The BitmapFromFile component now has a "Transparency" property that allows you to use transparent bitmaps (black color is transparent).

- Fixed: There was an error when copy/pasting BitmapFromFile-components.
