Just pointing out this very nice text editor for those that may be interested. I was.

Free of course, and loads of cool features,. and it is small and fast.

Hi jph,

Even smaller & faster is Notepad2. Lacks tabs / file manager though, but you can launch instances easily from within the program.

Opinion on Texteditors are a classic topic for debate among programmers. It's up in the top-ten along with use of tabulation, where to put comments, and how to position curly braces ;)

Personally I've used Textpad for the last 10 years.
