Hello, i'm an italian guy who recently discovered Z game editor. I think it is a really fascinating project. Too bad i'm quite a noob and i still have to get used to the structure of the editor, but i think i'll spend some happy hours with it. By the way, is there a comprehensive list of "stuff" that can be used in expressions? (i mean stuff like "CurrentModel" etc.)
I used to make humble videogames (using Mark Overmars' Gamemaker), but i'm really not a coding genius. You may find something on my site (
www.netherself.net): by the way, my game Drift is inspired by LockOn by jph_wacheski, that appears to be another ZGE enthousiast
As i'm still a newcomer i have nothing else to say... keep up the great work!

here. Please feel free to post any further question you might have
Welcome & enjoy ZGE ~

Hello panurge!
I hope you liked my translation of some site pages

Did the translation help you getting there?
I'm italian too and I really hope you will enjoy this tricky program

In fact, I must say it feels quite different from other game making programs, and this is what makes it special. Right now I'm still really busy with university (studio a Milano) so sorry if I won't be of a great help right now :/
Anyway, benvenuto

Spero ti possa divertire un po' a spulciare tutti i mezzi progetti postati nell'apposita sezione
bye bye!

Welcome panurge, I quite like your games and the music is very interesting as well! how do you produce the music harware or software ? I am big BUZZ fan,. and I have some old analoge syths that I like to mess with as well,. mostly for samples these days.
ZGE is a bit different to work with than GM, but is so much more powerful in the areas that interest me I have hardly touched GM since I took up ZGE! I keep saying I will write a tutorial for GM to ZGE converts, to help get them started (noteing the diffences mostly) however this has yet to happen,. so just ask when you get stuck, Ok!

Thank you Kjell, i'm already starting to understand how all this suff may work...
Thanks kettle for the translation! This may really help some italian nerd to get interested in ZGE. Anche io sono un po' nella merda con gli esami in questo periodo, ma prima o poi mi butterò a capofitto in questo magico programmino.
jph_wacheski, i'm not very much into hardware (i use softwares for music), even if i'd surely like to play around with some yummy analogue stuff.
I'm also quite interested in generative structures, and ZGE really seems to be a great resource (i once made a little 3d world generator thing in GM at
http://www.netherself.net/mondo/, but the project did not really come to a complete form, i hope to find a new inspiration from ZGE).
bye!
