Hi,

Its been awhile, (its summer down here) but i'm uploading a couple of protos/ideas, that I been working on.

This is a shooter with 3d background and 2d flat bitmaps sprites.

Arrows + z for movement & fire.

fire = Z

I thought I had it beat by standing on Z and not moving. Then I ran out of bullets!

Nice effect - side scroller from an angle.

although this feels very raw, i think it has some potential. right now i like the slightly angled scroll, it's got that guitar-hero tunnel vision going on ;) the flat, rolling spaceship design has also got something to it. definitely needs more variety, though.
