How about being able to set the colour of the window caption?
Most every windows caption is black, and ignored.

Isn't that a bit non-standard? I personally don't much like when applications use custom colors for standard Windows-controls instead of using the current theme settings.

You would need to set both caption and titlebar color otherwise the user might have a theme with red titlebar when you use red caption color and he won't see it at all :)

But at least it seems to be possible: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=186062

Anyone else have an opinion on this? I don't see the Window-caption as a place where you would put important information (because the user won't see it at all in fullscreen mode).

Hmm,

I personally don't like it when applications do this either. And when they do it, they better have a good reason for it ( and look impeccable ) .. like Steam or Chrome ( although they use a border-less window ).
