Defining midi-instruments in sound editor: help wanted
Posted: Sat Jul 07, 2007 3:30 pm
The latest version of ZGameEditor have a feature for importing midi-files.
Every midi instrument is mapped to an instrument (Sound-component) that is defined in the file MidiInstruments.xml which is located in the same path as the ZGameEditor.exe file.
If anyone here have any knowledge of how to define instruments in an analogue synthesizer then I really could use some help in improving the sounds in the instrument-file. Currently all instruments have the same piano-like definition.
So the work that needs to be done is to make an appropriate definition for every general midi instrument (guitar, flute etc) in the ZGameEditor sound-editor.
If you think you can help then please PM or post here, thanks!
