I just discovered ZGameEditor a few days ago. I am going to be going through the tutorials this weekend but I did take a quick glance through them.
The game editor seems like a really nice and well done idea. I have to admit that coming from a background in programming it will take awhile for me to get used to the format of creating games using the editor. I am hoping that once I learn it, it'll be relatively easy to throw together little games and demos.

I hope you find ZGE useful. The last 6 months I've added engine features but not much have been done to the designer tool except bug fixes. It is not so easy to use as I would like it to be, and I hope to address that in future versions. Please post your opinions here as you try out ZGE. I take note of all suggestions and feature requests and will do my best to fulfill them!
