Hi,

Seems to be working with a few minor graphical glitches.

I dont see the rendered text at all in 16bit colour mod, black squares. Textured bitmaps are VERY slow in 16bit.


In 32bit, the particle demo crashes...

Hi, thanks for the report!

Yes I've noticed some problems about text in certain cases.
And I've just tried to run in 16-bit color mode, and it does work very slow.
I need to look into that.

Does the particle demo work if you download the pre-compiled exe from http://www.emix8.org/files/windows/Particles.zip

Full screen is fine, looks 32 bit tho...

Windowed, same slow and very stippled.

Ian,

I've reproduced the problems with fonts and performance in 16-bit color.

About Particles, please try this:

- does it work in the preview window inside the editor?
(instead of pressing F9, select the App-component and click the "Start"-button.)
