Ouya, the $99, Android-powered, hackable game console has launched their kickstarter campaign.

Their $95 pledge which includes a console + controller is flying off the shelves ( almost half of them are gone already ) ..

Wow, and now just a few hours later they've reached their goal of raising $950,000. Looks really interesting. I sure could think of buying one myself.

Looks very good! I will see if I can scrape up some scratch to get in on this one,. . I am interested in what their store setup will be like and the developer/console store split, but they sure seem like they have their harts in the right place.

As far as i know Ouya will be taking a 30% cut from your sales.

And the SDK is available for download. It would appear as it is relatively easy to adapt your normal Android app to be Ouya compatible.
