hello,
i'm really liking the imagery zge can create and i want to use it on a printed poster for example.
could anyone recommend the best way to acquire an image that is up around 3500x5000 which i can edit in gimp?
i see that i can enter this as a custom screen dimension in App: and it builds and plays (slooowly). but im not sure where to go from here,
i also thought about zgeviz exporting an image sequence? but it does not allow custom resolutions
any help is appreciated

Hi Pond,
Perhaps this tool can do the trick:
http://keyj.emphy.de/kkapture-fake-screen-res-patch/
It captures video output from programs and saves them in high (including larger than screen area) resolutions. I haven't tried it with ZGE but it should work. Let me know if there are any problems.

hey ville thanks for the quick reply
i just tested out kkapture and it works perfectly!!
thanks!
if anyones interested, i used these settings:
i set 4000x4000 in the zge app, with fullscreen unticked
built the exe
in kkapture i set the codec as .bmp , 10fps, unticked audio, ticked fake resolution and set as 4000x4000
the bitmaps take up disk space pretty quickly so look out...to stop capturing just close the .exe
