I want everyone to know the ZGE is really a great alternative (or a companion) to Game Maker but I want to know the system requirements for this application.
My PC's specs are:
800MHz Duron processor
224MB RAM
directx video
sounblaster-compatible sound card
I know my PC's so damn slow but I have no other pc (I'm a poor gamer). I would like to ask anyone if my pc's specs are spunky enough to run ZGE. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
I actually do not know the minimum requirements of ZGE but I've tried to make it compatible with older hardware to the best of my knowledge. My guess is that it will work on your computer but run slowly.
I suggest you just download ZGE and try some of the sample projects. If you run into problems just post it here and we'll try to help you.
Thank you very much Villek! Actually I tried using ZGE with the included samples and all of them ran fine on my pc. I was just worried if along the way my game gets longer it might slow down due to my pc's specs. Thanks for the immediate reply! Now my head's cleared out!
